Brookglen is located on the western end of La Porte, between Spencer Highway to the North and Fairmont Parkway to the South, San Jacinto College Central Campus to the West and Pecan Park Baseball Fields to the East. The first homes in Brookglen were built in 1968 and the last homes in 1997. Brookglen Park has a splashpad, playground, covered picnic area, bathrooms, and a recreation center with kitchen facilities that is available for rentals
